  203.  The BBS's above will always have the most current version of the DISP
  204.  software available. Also, in some cases, it is possible to request the
  205.  newest versions with a standard file-request (ask your Sysop). On most
  206.  of the mentioned BBS's, you can request the newest version by Freq'in
  207.  for the 3-letter product-code (MTA) and NEW, so MTANEW, XFDNEW, QFVNEW
  208.  and so on.

  210.  The actual DISP-HQ is point 2:512/100.5, but this is a closed system
  211.  and can not be accessed from the 'outside'). You CAN address netmail to
  212.  this point though !

  214.  Becomming a beta-tester and/or support-node
  215.  ───────────────────────────────────────────
  216.  If you think that beta-testing DISP-software (MTA, FileDoor, QFV, RFW
  217.  and so on) is something for you, then do the following:
  218.  
  219.  Zone 1,2 and 5
  220.  --------------
  221.  - Write a LETTER (NOT a netmail/echomail message) to the address above,
  222.    telling WHY you want to be beta-tester and/or support-node;
  223.  - Tell something about yourself, what you have done sofar in the area
  224.    of beta-testing;
  225.  - Tell something about your system (hardware, running software);
  226.  - Tell me that can work according to the rules mentioned below (*);
  227.  - Tell me your node-number;
  228.  
  229.  Netmail/Echomail messages that deal with the question to become a
  230.  support/beta node are (in general) not answered.
  231.  
  232.  You will get a written answer from me. There can be three cases:
  233.  - You are accepted;
  234.  - Your on the 'waiting' list. I keep the number of testers and
  235.    support-nodes low. When some node whishes to stop the testing
  236.    and/or support, the next one from the list is asked again;
  237.  - You are not accepted;
  238.  
  239.  Zone 3,4 and 6

  241.  As above, but you can also send me a netmail message (2:512/100 or
  242.  2:512/100.5 under Rob van.hoeven). We are still in big need of beta
  243.  testers and support nodes in these zones.

  245.  (*) rules for beta-testing/support node follow below:
  246.  
  247.  - You must come and get the newest beta-versions AND release version
  248.    yourself. The frequency is depending on the zone. In general, at
  249.    least once a week;
  250.  
  251.  - You must support the DISP-echo;
  252.  
  253.  - You can be a beta-tester without support but you can't be a support
  254.    node without being a beta-tester;
  255.  
  256.  - You must agree to a set of rules that are send to you when the deal
  257.    is closing;
